I've always loved to write, whether it was short stories, editorials, poetry or song.  But the inspiration for The Light Series evolved from a personal journey - a period of time when I exhaustively explored various paths of philosophy and spirituality, including near death experiences.  These findings impacted not only my perspective on life, but my desire to share a sense of hope and peace with everyone I could reach. 

I also feel it's important to create characters with unique purpose.  I know it's a challenge to believe that a single person has the ability to really affect the world, but I am certain that we all have that power.  Sometimes you just need a spark, some inspiration and motivation to get excited about your life.  My hope is that the readers will come away from my books trusting in their own life's purpose and asking, "What's my endowment?"
